What personal data does SkyCrown collect?
When you simply visit skycrownn.org without creating an account, a small amount of data is logged automatically. This includes your IP address, the pages you visit, the referring page, your browser and device type and the time of your visit. None of this is linked to your name unless you contact us directly or open an account. When you submit our contact form or live chat, we collect the name, email address and message you provide so we can respond properly. When you open a player account, we additionally collect the data needed to comply with Australian know-your-customer and anti-money-laundering law, including proof of identity, proof of address and source-of-funds information for larger transactions.
How does SkyCrown use the data it collects?
Site analytics tell us which pages are useful, which links are broken and how to prioritise updates, all in aggregate without identifying individual visitors. Contact form data is used only to reply to your message and is not added to any marketing list without your separate consent. Account data is used to verify identity, process transactions, deliver promotions you have opted into, prevent fraud and meet our legal record-keeping obligations. Marketing communications are only sent to players who have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every marketing email or from your account preferences.
Who does SkyCrown share data with?
We do not sell personal data to anyone, full stop. We do share limited data with the payment processors, analytics providers, hosting providers and identity-verification partners that operate the site, all of whom are bound by data-processing agreements that match Australian Privacy Principles. We may disclose data if required by law, for example in response to a valid court order or a request from a competent Australian regulator. We may also share data with affiliated companies within the SkyCrown group for shared back-office functions like fraud prevention and customer support routing.
How is my data protected?
The site runs over HTTPS with TLS encryption end to end. Server access is restricted to a small technical team protected by multi-factor authentication. Payment information is processed by PCI-compliant payment partners and is never stored on our servers in clear text. Backups are encrypted and rotated on a thirty-day cycle. A 24/7 fraud-monitoring system watches for unusual activity and triggers human review on anything suspicious. Despite all of this, no system is one hundred percent immune to attack, so we strongly recommend you also use a strong unique password and enable two-factor authentication on your account.
What privacy rights do Australian players have?
Under the Australian Privacy Act you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, request a copy, ask for corrections, ask for deletion of any data that we are not legally required to retain, and complain about how your data has been handled. To make any of these requests, email the address on our contact page with "Privacy" in the subject line and your account email on file in the body of the message. We respond within thirty days as required by law, and we never charge a fee for handling a standard privacy request.
How does SkyCrown handle cookies and tracking?
We use a cookie consent banner to give you control over non-essential cookies on your first visit. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in the footer. Essential cookies are required for the site to work and cannot be disabled, including session management and your consent choice itself. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and respect your choice. The full list of cookies and what each one does is documented in the cookie policy.
How does this policy treat minors?
SkyCrown is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we verify age and identity on every account before processing withdrawals. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data through our site or opened an account, please contact us immediately and we will close the account and delete the data. Parental control software and the screen-time controls built into iOS and Android are strongly recommended on any device used by a household with minors.
What about international data transfers?
Some of our service providers are based outside Australia. Where personal data is processed internationally, it is only done under data-processing agreements that require equivalent privacy safeguards to the Australian Privacy Principles. We choose providers carefully based on their privacy track record and the legal protections available in the country where they operate.
How will I know if this policy changes?
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices evolve or as the law changes. The date of the most recent update is shown at the top of the page. Significant changes will be flagged on the site for at least thirty days and, for account holders, sent by email to the address on file so you have a chance to review the changes before they take effect.
